You Make it Possible! Support the Folklife Center!

Ways You Can Make it All Possible.

Some 50 percent of Vermont Folklife Center funds each year come from individual donors like you. Contributions from our friends and neighbors across Vermont and beyond keep VFC strong. Together we can continue to strengthen connections between Vermonters, foster empathy, and shape a culture founded on understanding and mutual respect.

How do I Make a Gift?

By donating on our website with your credit/debit card (or calling us with your card number); or by mailing a check to the Vermont Folklife Center, 88 Main Street, Middlebury, VT 05753. Feel free to call us at 802-388-4964 with any questions.

Sustaining Donors

Simplify your giving by joining a growing number of Folklife Center Sustaining Donors. You can select “Monthly” here. Or choose your sustaining donation plan: annual, quarterly, or monthly—whatever suits your desires.

Sustaining donors make a convenient ongoing commitment. You save time, paper, and postage. Your automatic monthly contribution of $10 or more is convenient for you and provides steady funding for the VFC programs you care about.

If you prefer, email bhooker@vermontfolklifecenter.org or call 802-388-4964 for assistance with the process. You can increase or terminate your pledge at any time.

Sharrow Fieldwork Fund

The gift must come from your required minimum distribution. Your financial institution needs to issue the check directly to us, and the gift must be made by December 31 of the tax year. Contact your provider or visit their website to obtain a simple form to fill out.
