Outright Vermont is a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQQ) ‘queer’ youth center and statewide advocacy organization.
The Mission of Outright is to build safe, healthy, and supportive environments for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth (ages 13-22).
“Our goal is to make Vermont the safest, most supportive and empowering state for queer youth in the United States of America.”
The RU12? Community Center celebrates, educates and advocates with and for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) Vermonters.
RU12? Is the largest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) organization in Vermont, and the only LGBTQ Community Center in the state.
"While our physical location is in downtown Burlington, we have many statewide programs and services. We work in close coalition with many other organizations including Outright Vermont, the Vermont Freedom to Marry Task Force, and the Vermont Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence"
The Middlebury Open Queer Alliance (MOQA) is an organization for students of ALL genders and sexualities.
"Our primary goals are 1) pursuing education and activism around queer issues, 2) providing a safe space for queer individuals and allies, 3) coordinating support resources for questioning and closeted students, and 4) organizing social events for Middlebury College’s queer and ally communities."
Weekly meetings are held Sunday at 8 P.M.
