Refugees do not arrive in Vermont empty-handed. Rather they bring with them the cultural world of their homeland and the desire to both keep this cultural “richness” alive and to share it with others.

This page presents a small sampling of Bosnian culture in Vermont, including audio and video excerpts from our archive and a video portrait of Mediha Jusufagic and the Bosnian Lilies dance ensemble produced by videographer Paul MacGowan.
