Irene Digital Memory is a database of photographs, videos, audio and text relating to the experience of Tropical Storm Irene in the state of Vermont.
Irene Digital Memory is a component of the Irene Storytelling Project, a program of the Vermont Folklife Center that supports participatory comunity storytelling and community-initiated documentation projects in regions of Vermont hard-hit by Tropical Storm Irene.
Support for the Irene Storytelling Project has been provided by Green Mountain Coffee, The Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation, Lyman Orton & Janice Izzi, Robert Fleming and Jane Howe Patrick Foundation, Vermont Community Foundation, Vermont Humanities Council, and anonymous donors.
