Description

Sound Recording Content
Interview: Kenneth talks about how older people reflect more on the past. Talks about his health and pain and how it prevents him from working in the woods logging and sugaring. Tells stories of logging when he was younger (3:00-6:00). Talks about nervousness. Describes how nervousness used to impact him in his youth, but how now it doesn't bother him. 'But if you always carry the idea that there ain't nothing you can do about anything, there 's no use in getting nervous.' Impact of having been a soldier on his worldview, and how the difficult experiences of war allow soldiers to be satisfied with what they have (8:33-10:10).
